The data layer under AI visibility
AnswerLine is an independent API company. We turn the answers AI assistants and search engines give into structured JSON, so the teams building products on that data can spend their time on the product.
What the API does
You send a prompt or a query, a country, and the engine you want it answered by. You get back the answer as text and markdown, every source it cited with position and URL, and whatever else that engine produces: the searches it ran before answering, product and shopping cards, places, organic results, ads, People Also Ask, related searches, the knowledge graph and the local pack. One request shape and one response envelope cover every engine, so adding a second engine to a pipeline is a changed parameter rather than a second integration.
The API serves ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Grok, Google AI Mode, Google Search, and Google News. Every endpoint, field and error code is published in the API reference and in the OpenAPI document that generates it, so you can read the exact shape of a response before you sign up.
Who it is for
Teams building AI-visibility, GEO and rank-tracking products who need a collection layer they did not write; agencies reporting to clients on how AI assistants describe their brands; and data, research and security teams who need search and answer data in a pipeline. The use cases section covers each of those workloads, and integrations lists the SDKs and connectors.
How it is sold
Self-serve and prepaid. Every account starts with 100 free requests on any engine and no card. After that you top up a USD balance from $1 in the dashboard, and each request deducts a price set by the engine and the options you enable. Requests that fail are not charged. Prices get lower on bigger tiers, reached by your spend over the last 30 days; they are on the pricing page, and the billing rules behind them are in balance and billing.
Support
Support is email, answered within 24 hours by the people who build the API: write to support@answerline.dev with the request id from the response headers. The contact page lists the routes for volume pricing and custom terms, and the documentation answers most integration questions without a ticket.
Security and data
We return publicly available answers and results, the same ones any visitor to those engines can see. Prompts and results belong to the customer who submitted them: we process them to carry out the request, and we do not sell personal data.
- Prompts and results are deleted within 6 days of the request, and from backups within 30 days after that.
- The service runs on servers in the EU, behind Cloudflare.
- API keys are stored only as hashes: the full key is shown once, when you create it.
- Card details are held by Stripe; we never see full card numbers.
- Quantive Bt. operates the service, registered in Hungary (company registration 01-06-798410), under the EU GDPR.
